1. Ride & Wine Philosophy
Ride & Wine in the Heart of Tuscany
I have been dreaming of it for a long time. Now I found it – Tuscany, the perfect combination of cycling and relish.
The perfect landscapes of the Chianti mountains inspire. And the famous wines as well as the renowned delicious cuisine can hardly be surpassed. Welcome to the heart of the Chianti Classico.
The idea arose during my holidays. The streets between Siena and Florence lead through one of Italy’s most beautiful and steeped in history regions with vineyards, olive groves, and cypresses. For many synonymous for the way of life and cheerful vitality across the Alps. The world-famous wines and Tuscan cuisine made my heart for cycling and relish beat faster.
I am not a traditional “bike racing buff”, going at “full throttle” all day on my bicycle and hardly taking note of nature – that is not for me. So I just got on my bicycle, hit the pedals and lost myself in the ravishing landscape of the Chianti mountains. Leisurely I rode along the “Strada del Chianti”.
Enjoyed nature, the tiny wineries, the fantastic villages, and the inviting restaurants, downright seducing me in the Chianti Classico. I felt no strain on my bicycle. I enjoyed every turn of the pedals. Was delighted by every next bend, the next beautiful landscape, the next winery, the next village restaurant.
I experienced the perfect combination of cycling & culinary delight – experiences only Tuscany can provide. Simply the best destination for cyclists who relish. All that my team and I want to share with you.
We are accommodated in a magnificent four-star hotel on top of a hill. Imbedded in nature, surrounded by olive trees and grapevines. Local insiders and former cycling professionals guide you through the Chianti region on discovery journeys. Gentle hills delight us as much as more demanding climbs. We let ourselves get seduced by the typical Tuscan cuisine. And enjoy the wine tastings at the various wineries – just the ideal place for a cyclist who relishes.
We already wish you lots of fun and a pleasurable stay with cycling & relish with us here in Tuscany.
